Description
HMMWV Engine Compartment Splash Shield – Left Side
This component is the driver-side engine bay splash and protective cover used on the HMMWV (Humvee) platform.
The panel mounts along the inner fender and frame rail, forming the lower side wall of the engine compartment behind the front wheel.
Its design protects sensitive components while helping maintain proper airflow through the engine bay.
Function
This cover performs several important roles in the vehicle:
• Splash protection – prevents mud, water, and debris from entering the engine bay from the front tire
